Equal Opportunities Unit (Central Greece Departments)
The Equal Opportunities Unit (EOU) maintains offices at the Department of Regional and Economic Development of the Agricultural University of Athens, based in Amfissa; at the Department of Forestry and Management of the Natural Environment, based in Karpenisi; and at the Department of Agricultural Business Administration and Supply Chain Systems, based in Thebes. The role of the EOU is to support members of the student community with disabilities and/or special educational needs, with the aim of ensuring equal access, active participation, and successful completion of their studies. It provides individualized support, coordinates the involved departments, and develops information and awareness-raising activities, promoting educational, social, digital, and physical accessibility. In this way, it contributes to the creation of an accessible, inclusive, and non-exclusionary academic environment that promotes equality, respect for diversity, and equal opportunities for all.
